Cr Tony Clark, Hepburn Shire Mayor

Tony is currently Mayor of Hepburn Shire Council and has an extensive career across the government and not-for-profit sectors, with experience in executive leadership and governance. Across a range of senior roles, Tony has led major health, mental health, education, housing and disability infrastructure projects for the Victorian Government. He has also led significant transition programs in the disability sector, including major change programs associated with the implementation of the NDIS. Alongside his executive career, Tony has held a number of board roles. He is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Engagement Institute and has previously served as Chair of the Engagement Institute, a Non-Executive Director of IAP2 International and a Non-Executive Director of State Trustees of Victoria. Tony has a long-standing commitment to community service and disability advocacy, including more than 35 years as a leader in the Scouting movement, where he was awarded the Silver Emu for service. In 2023, Tony was awarded the Kimberley Kitching Award for Human Rights by the Prime Minister. He brings the perspective of lived experience to his work and is committed to supporting inclusive and strong community outcomes.
